When you say "Yes" to becoming part of our group, the wheels are already in motion! At this phase, the question we hear most from new clients is,
"I know this is what I need. How does it work?" First, to help us provide you with excellent service, we ask that you complete our
Info Request Form.
Next, we analyze the status of your contact data and determine your database needs. We work together to determine your territory rotation, taking
into consideration existing travel plans and appointments, and begin scheduling. Below you will find a more detailed explanation of the process.
Mailing campaigns can begin at any time. The time is now to start a "Presence in Absence"
mailing campaign.
By considering The Appointment Biz, you have already made a commitment to the future
of your business. We would be proud to be part of your team. All of us at The Appointment Biz are looking forward to working with you.
If you need territory zoning and routing:
Territory zoning and routing includes routing your territory for efficient travel and isolating the top offices and producers in those zones.
To begin this process, we will need any zoning you currently use, your top 100 individual producers, your top 50 branches, and a "hit list" or
"A" and "B" office list. Be sure all these reports include contact name, company name, address, phone, fax, and e.mail address. It is preferable to
supply the producer and branch reports as data files.
If you have an existing database:
The Appointment Biz will need to get a copy of the contacts in your current database to create a new ACT! 6.0 database you and your new partner
will share. We will walk you through exporting the data from your current database. If you do not already have a copy of ACT! 6.0 you should obtain
a copy while we are creating your database. When your contacts are imported into a new database, we will send you a copy. Along with the new
database, you will receive basic ACT! training. You can begin familiarizing yourself with ACT! as we work on your database.
If you need a database:
We will need a data file of your territory to enter into a new database.
