What are the requirements to become a subcontractor with The Appointment Biz?
What does The Appointment Biz do?
- The Appointment Biz helps
salespeople develop and maintain client relationships by providing administrative assistance,
productivity coaching, and software training. Our scheduling service is the biggest seller.
- We help create a more balanced work week for our clients.
- We develop a long-term and
collaborative partnership that improves with time.
What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?
- A VA provides any sort of assistance
to another person or business without having to be physically present in the client's location.
What will I be doing as an Appointment Biz subcontractor?
- Subcontractors manage the daily appointment
schedule and assist in managing movement through the client’s territory.
Why do our clients use The Appointment Biz versus an individual VA?
- The Appointment Biz has been providing
service to busy salespeople in the financial service industry since 1997. We train technologically proficient
individuals who have at least five years executive administrative experience to use the systems we have
developed to support salespeople. Subcontractors are assigned clients and develop a long-term collaborative
relationship that becomes stronger as time passes.
- We work with a number of subcontractors and have
created a team to support one another when needed. Our clients enjoy consistent service from their assigned scheduler
and back-up from the team when needed.
- We get twice as much done in half the time because
we know our niche. The financial services industry is our focus; we understand compliance issues, what it means to
be a wholesaler, and how to best support our client’s sales efforts.
Why would I want to work as a subcontractor for The Appointment Biz instead of working on my own?
- The Appointment Biz takes care of marketing, sales,
and accounting. All you need to do is work and turn in your hours. The advantage of being self-employed and working
at home with the added simplicity is the benefit our subcontracts appreciate the most.
- We work with a number of subcontractors and have
created a team to support one another when needed. After training, you work independently with your client and the
Front Office is always here to offer support, ideas, and a team spirit.
What are the requirements to become a subcontractor with The Appointment Biz?

experience, including scheduling and telecommunications.

tasks on time and within defined parameters.
- Strong working knowledge of Personal Computers and
the Windows operating system.
- Experience with Act! and/or other similar relational
database programs.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel,
and email.
